We are currently seeking candidates who are qualified for the role of <strong>Mechanical Technologist.</strong></p><p><strong>Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):</strong></p><ul><li>Assembly of products using standard shop procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.</li><li>Assemble and test precision high-reliability electro-mechanical products and prototypes.</li><li>Perform repairs on production equipment.</li><li>Provide input of design requirements and drawings.</li><li>Provide input to specifications and procedures.</li><li>Accountable for mechanical portions of system or tooling building.</li><li>Participates in the commissioning of prototype and production machines.</li><li>Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong><em>Key Skill Requirements:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Strong multi-tasker</li><li>Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware</li></ul><p><strong><em>Key Education/Experience Requirements:</em></strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years? experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is preferred</li><li>Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required</li><li>Knowledge of quality control tools is required</li><li>Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset</li></ul><p><strong><em>Application Information: </em></strong>This role is a permanent full time position.
