Responsibilities: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck and its equipment - Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries Skills: - Strong understanding of freight transportation regulations and safety protocols - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record - Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps - Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Passport and clear criminal record are an immediate requirement as we move trucks cross border daily. Prior experience with border crossings and long haul trips an asset. Job Types: Permanent, Casual Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 ? 45 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Flexible schedule Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: On the road- LocationRed Deer, AB
