*Job Summary*
The Medical Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a medical office, providing administrative support and assisting 6 physicians specializing in Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology.
*Responsibilities*
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Filing/scanning in electronic medical records
- Faxing/photocopying
- Process incoming & outgoing mail
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the office staff
*Qualifications*
- Must have graduated from a college diploma program
- Experience in medical office setting
- Excellent computer skills mandatory.
- Experience with electronic medical records, specifically ACCURO would be an asset
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Be able to work independently & also be a team player
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction as well as excellent verbal and written skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 ? 20 per week
