Job details
As a Condominium Manager, you have two primary responsibilities: to manage a community's daily operations and to carry out policies set by the condo board. You act as a liaison between the residents and the board. Specifically the Condominium Manager performs the following tasks:
* Ensuring maintenance and repair of the property
* Negotiating and entering into contracts on behalf of the condo corporation
* Identify the severity and urgency of inquiries, dispatch the necessary vendors if required, and advise the proper parties involved.
* Attend site for Property Inspections and overseeing the implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
* Enforcing the bylaws or rules of the condo corporation.
* Working with the accounting department to ensure the condominium corporation stays withing their annual budget
* Reviewing invoices prior to sending them to accounting
* *Attending evening board meetings and Annual General Meetings*
* Issuing notices to owners related to the property (ex. fire alarm testing, stack cleaning, water shutdown)
* Advising the board of directors on compliance with the Condominium Act
* Project management for longer term large scale projects
*What are we looking for?*
We are looking for someone with a strong customer service background who is a good people person. A large portion of the job is communication whether it be with residents, vendors, board members or our internal staff. As a Condominium Manager to successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:
* *RECA condominium management license (required)*
* Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic service, no matter the issue.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
* Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
* Strong time-management skills and an ability to work autonomously. A ?self starter?.
* Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
* An ability to adapt, to not only new procedures and policies, but new technology.
* Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
* Valid driver?s license, vehicle, and clean drivers abstract.
* Previous bartending and/or serving experience considered an asset
