Dates: October 15, 2024 to March 31, 2026 DUTIES: <p>The Office Manager shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, including but not restricted, to the following: Perform receptionist duties by greeting visitors and parents, answering the telephone, ascertaining the nature of business, providing information or redirecting inquires as required<p> Conduct inventory and order administrative and academic supplies as required<p> Gather and record the daily attendance records for all students<p> Perform various computer, word processing and typing responsibilities such as forms, spreadsheets, correspondence, school communication, student lists and a variety of reports as directed<p> Enter data and generate monthly and other reports in the student information, accounting and administrative systems as required by the Principal and Division Office personnel<p> Perform the financial and accounting functions required to maintain financial records such as bank deposits, issue receipts, petty cash reports and decentralized budget information <p> At all times maintain respectful communication with fellow staff members, students and parents<p> Promote the vision, mission, principles and goals of Val Marie School and Chinook School Division <p>EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Certificate/Diploma in Office Administration training at an institution or equivalent <p> Prior experience as an Office Manager<p> Knowledge of business English, spelling and punctuation<p> Knowledge of methods and procedures used in maintaining an office<p> Knowledge in accounting practices<p> Superior technological knowledge in order to provide tech support to other staff members/students <p> Knowledge in the operation of equipment, such as photocopier, fax, telephone, and computer<p> Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and database software packages<p> Knowledge and experience working within Google: Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms and Hangouts <p>BENEFITS: Defined Benefit Pension Plan<p> Employee benefit package<p> Positive work environment<p> Pay range - $18.84 to $24.65 per hour <p>Applications must be submitted prior to 3:00 p.m. on October 1, 2024.<p>For more information about this position, please contact Rob Stewart, Principal, at 306-662-2655.
