*Project Details:*
Based at our remote project in Northern, British Columbia, this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.
*Responsibilities:*
The Maintenance Planner on our remote project in the Northern BC is responsible and accountable for the following:
* Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders
* Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities
* Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs
* Working with engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades
* Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment
* Working with vendors and contractors as needed
* Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
* Follow all policies and processes at the mine site and underground
* Must be prepared to adhere to all legislated regulations and company Health & Safety policies and perform the role safely and ensure Health & Safety is the number one priority
* Other mining related tasks as required
*Qualifications / Requirements:*
* Minimum 5 years working in a maintenance related field in mining or another heavy industry (mining preferred)
* Strong organizational and planning skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software
* Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
* Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
* Experience working with a variety of crews and adapts well to working with others
* Dependable and able to commit to a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation
* Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team
* Residents of the Northern British Columbia and candidates identifying as Indigenous are encouraged to apply.

This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
