Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Determine weldability of materials. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Pressure Welding Certification. Welding techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Equipment and machinery experience: Soldering machine. Area of specialization: Custom fabrication. Structural construction. Cast iron and other metals. Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Screening questions: Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
