Responsibilities
Tasks

Evaluate mobility, balance, gait and posture

Examine the patient
-
Observe the patient during the treatment

Perform X-rays and other tests
-
Administer budget
-
Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints
-
Adjust position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations, using manipulative therapy
-
Hire and train staff
-
Provide additional treatment such as heat, red light and massage

Supervise staff
-
Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle and nutrition
