Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Determine picture composition. Make technical adjustments to equipment and photograph subjects. Adapt existing photographic images and create new digitized images to be included in multimedia/newmedia products. Operate computers to manipulate photographic images. Operate scanners to transfer photographic images to computers. Study requirements of a particular assignment and decide on type of camera, film, lighting and background accessories to be used. Take pictures of individuals, families, groups and public. Use airbrush, computer or other techniques to retouch negatives. Use delicate instruments, such as optical microscopes attached to cameras. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Lightroom. Photographic techniques: Colour. Digital photo imaging. Photo restoration. Computer graphic imagery system. Adobe Photoshop. Photographic experience: General. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines.
