*Local Shunting* Family owned and operated transportation company is seeking experienced and reliable AZ drivers for shunting positions available in St Thomas. The positions available are 8 hour shifts 2:30PM to 10:30PM Monday to Friday and every other Saturday with the potential for longer hours, before or after shift, and extra weekend shifts if desired. *Position Description:* · Safe and efficient movement of trailers in and out of dock doors, within and between facility buildings · Maintain routine communication with dispatch/lead hand regarding the placement of trailers both in doors and in the yard · Daily inspection of truck · Monitor truck condition and communicate with regional manager when repair(s) required · Following safe operating procedures at all times · Other duties as assigned *Requirements:* · Valid AZ license · Clean driving abstract and CVOR Our people are important to our success and we pride ourselves on giving our employees opportunities to develop and grow within their career. We offer a professional and positive working environment, along with position specific training Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $25.50 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * St. Thomas, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * AZ Driving: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * AZ Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-07- LocationSt. Thomas, ON
