*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, customer relationship management, and project management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating contracts to achieve company objectives.
*Responsibilities*
Market Development
· Contribute to developing marketing strategies to leverage the companies? position and branding(Precan and Venn)
· Research market trends to identify new services being requested by existing clients
· Conduct market and competitor assessments to identify new market opportunities
· Represent the firm in the market through involvement in client and industry forums
· Manage social media communications ? develop a plan and implement on schedule
Client Development
· Lead client development activities, generating sustainable revenue streams with the core business
· Generate new business engagements and contribute to existing client relationships
· Define client needs and develop winning strategies with a compelling value proposition
Client Management
· Ensure client management practices are aligned with our mission, values and core competencies
· Participate in client relations and activities for new and sustaining clients
· Coordinate BD activities with team members that have the strongest relationships with clients
Business Management
· Monitor, evaluate, and report on client development and management activities
· Lead certain marketing and proposal material development initiatives
· Identify improvements to processes that contribute to business development activities
· Use our key indicators to evaluate the performance of the various programs and teams
*Skills*
- Proven experience in business development with a focus on customer relationship management.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing sales processes effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals successfully.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
