We are looking to hire a passionate and energetic speech-language pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. We are dedicated to helping people of all ages communicate to the best of their ability. This is a full-time permanent position, but candidates looking for part-time hours are also welcome to apply.

Location: Peak ABA Services Brampton , Ontario, online remote therapy, and travel to communities and schools in Brampton.
Hours: Flexible hours Monday to Friday
Salary: $65 to $100 per hour depending on the expereince

Key responsibilities:
?
* Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment to children with suspected communication difficulties in the following areas: articulation, language, fluency, motor speech, voice, and pragmatic/social communication. Knowledge and experience with a range of developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and fetal alcohol syndrome.

* Provide resources to parents to help them better understand the etiology and physiology of their communication difficulties or impairment or their child?s communication difficulties.
??
* Administer screening protocols.
??
* Create, follow, and adapt treatment plans for individuals and group sessions.
??
* Develop and lead engaging therapy sessions and care-giver workshops.
??
* Assist in the development of online content, future programming, and service offerings.
??
* Consult and collaborate with community partners including resource teachers, schools, local children?s treatment centers, etc.
??
* Maintain knowledge of current practices and equipment in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
* Master?s degree in speech-language pathology.
?
* Member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
?
* Membership with the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologists (OSLA) or Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) preferred.
?
* Experience working with preschool and school-aged children.
?
* Demonstrate flexibility and time-management skills to manage an ever-changing caseload.
?
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
?
* Excellent assessment and intervention skills.
?
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team with other disciplines.
?
* Comfort with technology, including Zoom video-conferencing technology and Microsoft Office.
?
* Vulnerable sector check.
?
* Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel.
