Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Electrical utilities. Tasks: Feed and unload production machinery and equipment. Measure, weigh and load chemical ingredients following formulation cards. Record production information. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Assist in operation, repair and maintenance. Take samples. Perform general labouring duties. Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products. Adjust processing machines and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
