Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Construction. Renovation. Commercial. Agriculture. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work with minimal supervision. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Personal suitability: Client focus. Reliability. Team player. Punctuality. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
