Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work setting: Private school. Tasks: Accompany students during school and extracurricular activities. Help students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of classroom teacher. Perform other duties assigned by school principal. Assist with classroom inventory. Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher. Assist teacher in the operation of projectors, tape recorders and other audio-visual or electronic equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Interpersonal awareness. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
