Position: Security GuardSite: Bay Adelaide CentreCity: 333 Bay Street, TorontoStatus: Full-Time Hours: Position 1: Afternoon Desk - Monday - Friday - 1600 - 0000 Position 2: Patrol - Nights - Sunday - Thursday - 0000-1200/ 0000-0800Position 3: Swing Patrol - Sunday 1200-0000/ Mon - 1600-0000/ Fri - 0000-0800/ Sat - 0000-1200Position 4: East Tower Desk Nights - Mon - Fri 0000-0800 Pay Rate: $19.37 - $19.63/ Hr Site Description: Bay Adelaide West opened its doors in June 2009. The Bay Adelaide Centre complex encompasses a whole city block and consists of the newly constructed East Tower, 1/2 acre urban plaza. Connected to the PATH (Toronto 27KM underground walkway) with 51 floors and 1,100 underground parking and on site management and 24/7 building access and security.Ensure staff are following the assigned patrol schedule;Provide clear and concise communication to security staff;Record all information in a detailed and factual manner;Follow communication guidelines issued by the client, such as prompt notification of incidents; using correct notification groups and providing information that is detailed and factual;Be familiar with all Brookfield Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Procedures;Have very strong communication and customer service skills;Write detailed, factual, and concise incident reports for all incidents mentioned in Appendix AExcellent written and verbal communication skills;Strong command of the English language.Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills;Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment;Flexible and adaptable in dealing with a diversity of situations and people;Ability to work efficiently under stress;Team player.#IND1QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDOther InformationPaladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place!
