Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Building operator/superintendent certificate. Building operator certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. Type of related experience: Civil engineering. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools.
