Only hiring from Ontario, who are able to travel to the location.
We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and positive team-oriented Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. We are willing to train the right candidate. If you enjoy interacting with others and being part of a team, we want to meet you! This position involves working directly with Management and the public to provide Food and Beverage services and assist guests in enjoying themselves while they are here. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant and enjoy interacting with a variety of people.
\*\*Duties:\*\*
- Support restaurant management in daily operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Provide excellent hospitality and customer service
- Supervise and train junior staff members
\*\*Qualifications:\*\*
- Experience in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Strong hospitality skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in supervising or managing roles within a restaurant setting is a plus
\*\* Responsibilites\*\*
- Deliver friendly and timely service to customers.
- Solid knowledge of all menu items including food and beverage.
- Efficient and accurate use of the POS system.
- Opening and closing duties as outlined.
- Check identification of customers served to ensure that they are at least 19 years old.
- Restock bar tools and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Take care of customer payment.
- Keep customer information confidential.
- Building a rapport within the community
- Reporting to Upper Management
- Daily Cash Outs and Tip Outs
- Other duties as assigned.
Must be Smart Serve Certified
Bar and liquor knowledge is an asset.
Legal age to serve alcohol
