We pride ourselves on providing staff and students with the tools to achieve success by offering dynamic programming, current resources, and practical professional learning opportunities.<p><p><p>EIPS is recruiting a part-time Mental Health Lead teacher at Rudolph Hennig Junior High and SouthPointe School. <p><p><p>Rudolph Hennig Junior High serves approximately 415 students in grades 7 to 9, with 22 teaching staff and nine support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.<p>Rudolph Hennig Junior High staff are committed to fostering success in all students. The school believes respect for yourself and others, a desire to always do your best and a positive attitude will guide you to success.<p> <p>SouthPointe School serves approximately 680 students in kindergarten to Grade 9, with 32 teaching staff and 18 support staff. The school is located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, approximately 20 kilometres north of Sherwood Park, AB.<p>SouthPointe School, in collaboration with the community, provides a safe, supportive learning environment in which every student will develop the skills and knowledge to become lifelong learners and contributing members of society. All students at SouthPointe are in an environment where they are valued, cared for, respected and treated as individuals with individual needs, strengths, affinities and areas of growth.<p><p><p><p> Commencing September 30, 2024 <p> Ending June 26, 2025 <p> Position schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday mornings at Rudolph Hennig Junior High, Wednesday mornings at SouthPointe School <p> Position may include a teaching component or staffing of the Reset Room <p> Open to internal and external applicants, priority will be given to EIPS teachers who hold a continuous contract and meet the minimum requirements of the position <p><p> <p>Elk Island Public Schools? Mental Health Strategic Plan is supported through the Mental Health in Schools Pilot project. The Mental Health Lead Teacher will work with staff to<p>build capacity in areas related to co-regulation in order to support student<p>success in the classroom.
