JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF
*OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR*
The Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association Inc. (SCDA) requires a highly motivated Office Administrator to join our Saskatoon office's Agricultural Water Management (AWM) team. Your impact on our organization will be significant in several ways:
*Clerical:* You will maintain front office operations such as answering the phones, greeting office visitors, assisting with inquiries and requests, and keeping the office neat and presentable. You will assist in creating correspondence and reporting, photocopying, and other clerical duties as requested.
*Communication:* You will be an excellent communicator, regularly talking with SCDA members and assisting with reporting to the Water Security Agency (WSA) and other agencies as required. Familiarity with web page design and social media is an asset.
*Administration:* You will organize and ensure our organization's correspondence and documents are filed in place and up to date. You will ensure that our office and office equipment are maintained, supplied, and ready for fellow employees to complete their tasks.
*Agriculture:* You will understand agriculture well, furthering your ability to work with and assist in communicating with our SCDA members.
Desired candidates will have a diploma or degree in office administration and at least three (3) years of experience working as an administrator. Ideally, you will possess technical skills in office administration, document development, and customer service. Strong communication, attention to detail, and high organizational skills are required for this position. You will be an incredible multitasker and will enjoy wearing many hats as needed in a dynamic work environment.

*About Us:*
The Saskatchewan Conservation and Development Association Inc. (SCDA) is a not-for-profit membership corporation with over one hundred (100) Conservation and Development Area Authorities (CAAs) and thirteen (13) Watershed Association Boards (WAs) as part of our membership. Our organization works for our members and stakeholders to develop more efficient legislation, policies, and administrative systems that promote effective surface water management on Saskatchewan farmlands. The SCDA takes an active role in establishing a cooperative working relationship with each of these groups.
Part of your role will be to work with the AWM team, which is mandated to assist SCDA members in bringing new and existing members into compliance with WSA's Agricultural Water Management Strategy (AWMS).

*Core Responsibilities:*
· Manage a busy environment and provide support to coworkers.
· Prioritize work and directives from multiple sources, i.e. Executive Director, Program Manager, Project Coordinator(s), Executive Administrator, and other staff.
· General reception duties, including answering the telephone, handling inquiries, and directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
· General office duties, including using and maintaining office equipment, maintaining and ordering office supplies, and creating documents and reports.
· General clerical duties, including accurately recording and transcribing meeting minutes, digitally filing correspondence and documents, and maintaining electronic and hardcopy data.
· Internal and external reporting and database management.
· Assist in coordinating and attending meetings for internal and external stakeholders.
· Establish and maintain working relationships with SCDA members and stakeholders.
· Maintain company web page and social media platforms.
· Produce a monthly SCDA newsletter for stakeholders.
· Safety Officer.
· Deep clean the office, specifically remove the trash, restock supplies, empty the dishwasher, maintain the washroom weekly, and vacuum, sanitize, and dust all surfaces every ot
