Store Manager for Art Noise
Job Description:
As the Store Manager of Art Noise, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day aspects
of store operations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will lead the
team of sales associates, manage inventory, scheduling, reconciling the cash and other
day-to-day administrative duties. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a positive shopping
experience and fostering a creative atmosphere within the store.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, inventory, and customer service.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of knowledgeable and customer-focused sales associates.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize sales and showcase new products.
- Uphold store policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and loss prevention.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, offering product knowledge and recommendations.
- Managing product data on the website and in our POS system.
- Meeting with gallery director and Tri-Art retail & projects manager to keep abreast of upcoming
projects and long-term goals
- Managing education orders for elementary/high schools.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management experience, preferably in an art supply or related industry.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for art and knowledge of art materials and techniques preferred.
- Administrative experience is also an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
