_This position will appeal to a highly organized, results oriented individual who wants to work for a locally owned and operated construction company._
Hipperson Construction is looking for a Construction Office Administrator for our office located in downtown Regina. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager. This individual is a vital contributor to the Accounting, Project Management and Estimating teams.
Responsibilities:
Office Admin/Reception
- Filing
- Managing incoming calls
- Opening and distributing mail
- Ordering office supplies
Accounting
- Filing of accounting documents
- Print invoices from the accounting email
- Coding invoices
- Checking if PO?s have been pushed in Procore to match the newly received invoices
- Collect rent and create receipts for QA if tenant drops off in office.
Project Coordination/Estimating
- Downloading and distributing tender documents
- Updating the tender calendar
- Distribute quotes and faxes that come in
- Assist in preparation of tenders and pre-qualifications
- Setting projects up in Procore
- Document control throughout projects
- Compiling and Completing Operation and Maintenance Manual
Additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
* Some post-secondary education in Office or Business Administration, or a combination of schooling and relevant experience as an Office Administrator. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the construction industry.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient on computer software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), competencies in Adobe Acrobat will be considered an asset;
* Demonstrates initiative, highly organized, with effective time management skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
