Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Instruct apprentices. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
