Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate. Enter client information in databases. Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products. Maintain prescription records . Prepare medications for clients. Bill third party insurers. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Maintain supplies. Perform general clerical duties. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Word. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Accurate. Organized. Flexibility. Reliability. Ability to multitask. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
