Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Plumbing and related water supply services, other. Labour and industrial relations. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Air conditioning and refrigeration systems: Geothermal. Area of work experience: Installation. Maintenance. Repair. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Work under pressure.
