We are currently accepting applications for the position of: <p>POSITION <p>Health Promotion and Wellness Case Worker - 1.0 FTE <p>(1 Permanent Position)<p>LOCATION <p>Catholic Education Centre, Mississauga <p>SALARY <p>($72,511 - $84,669)<p>Position Summary: <p>Under the direction of the Manager of Health Promotion and Wellness, the Caseworker is responsible for implementing the Disability Management Program which includes, managing medical leaves, return to work processes and accommodation plans for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illness, while ensuring compliance with multiple collective agreements and applicable legislation.<p>Basic Qualifications <p><p><p> University Graduate or Post-Secondary diploma in Human Resources, Health/Rehab Science or related fields<p> Return to Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Disability Management courses or similar programs preferred<p> Minimum five (5) years of experience in Disability Case Management managing high volume caseloads in a unionized environment is considered an asset<p> WSIB experience is required<p> Combination of education and experience may be considered<p><p> <p>Other Qualifications/Additional Experience: <p><p> Experience in design and implementation of Return-to-Work programs<p> Working knowledge of rehabilitation, ergonomics, pathophysiology, and supportive counselling techniques<p> Relevant experience working in a multi unionized environment<p> Experience with Parklane software considered an asset<p> Excellent report writing and presentation skills<p> Ability to prioritize and organize high volume workload demands<p> Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment, tact, and sensitivity in dealing with internal and external contacts<p> Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Software<p> Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and successfully complete projects with conflicting deadlines and urgency<p> Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently<p> A valid driver?s license and access to a vehicle<p><p>To be considered for this position, please forward your resume and a covering letter by September 20, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. quoting File: Health Promotion & Wellness, Case Worker fully detailing your experience and qualifications.
