*Position Title:* Human Resources (HR) Manager
*Location: *Fergus, ON
*Employment Type:* Full-Time
*Reports To:* Executive Director

We are looking for a dynamic HR Professional to join our team who will play a critical role in maintaining our standards and ensuring our operations align with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* *Policy Enforcement:* Understand and enforce company policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions in alignment with organizational goals and values.
* *Payroll Administration:* Administer and manage payroll through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* *Compliance Consultation:* Familiarize with and consult on Ministry requirements from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), ensuring all practices are up-to-date and compliant.
* *Recruitment & Hiring:* Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and offer negotiations.
* *Employee Training & Development:* Coordinate and implement training programs for new hires and existing employees, ensuring continuous professional development and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* *Performance Management:* Support the development and execution of performance management systems, including employee evaluations and improvement plans.
* *Employee Relations:* Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise.
* *Documentation & Reporting:* Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and documentation to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other HRIS systems.
* In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements, including MCCSS and CYFSA.
* Understanding of, or willingness to learn, requirements set out by regulatory bodies such as, but not limited to, CPBAO, OCSWSSW, etc. as they relate to the Company's practices and procedures.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
