We are looking for a fully licensed (current NBCP registrant) Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, follow all NBCP & NAPRA standards, and possess excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include all technician skills/duties in addition to preparing prescriptions, entering patient information into the computer system, and answering customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
* All regulated pharmacy technician roles & responsibilities according to NBCP & NAPRA guidelines/regulations.
* Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to the prescriber's instructions.
* Administer injections per NBCP regulations/standards.
* Maintain records of medications dispensed and other related activities.
* Assist in the preparation of medications for dispensing.
* Answer questions from customers and other healthcare professionals regarding medications and their use (within jurisprudence)
* Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 ? 40 per week
