Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager of Maintenance and Operations will support the Yellowline Terminal by providing boots-on-the-ground maintenance and operational leadership.
*Key Responsibilities include :*
* Managing Yellowline (YL) Asphalt Cement Terminal Maintenance and Boots-on-the-ground Production Operations.
* Plan and execute terminal maintenance programs.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as per YL Safety Practices and Procedures.
* Identify and become familiar with various asphalt cement specifications requirements.
* Manage subcontractor agreements and on-site services.
* Communicate and assist personnel in adjusting processes to conform to specifications.
*Position Requirements:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university preferred.
* Professional Engineer of Ontario.
* Minimum 10+ years related experience.
* Knowledge of asphalt technology is an asset.
* Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization.
* Results-driven with a focus on delivering success in a fast-paced environment.
* Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
* Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
* Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
* Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges
