The Cathedral School team is currently in search of a Middle School Science/Math Teacher as our newest member. Adding to this, we offer competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, timetabled prep and collaboration time, along with extra holidays.<p>Position: 0.5 to full-time Math/Science teacher for Grades 6-8. <p>Start Date: September 3, 2024<p>Required: Valid British Columbia Teaching Certification membership Teacher Regulation Branch. <p>Strong candidates will: be familiar with the BC Ministry of Education curriculum and core competencies use differentiated teaching methods effectively<p> work with students to integrate and acquire interpersonal and social skills that help them work, learn and play with one another harmoniously and with confidence<p> understand the use of a technologies in the classroom both for learning and learning support<p> be familiar with a variety of formative and summative assessment tools<p> work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the full schools effectiveness<p> willingly engage in our co-curricular program<p> support the Anglican Ethos of our school programming Salary Range: $60,645 to $91,595 depending on experience, plus a stipend for Graduate Studies.<p>Application Deadline Date: This position will be posted until it is filled. <p>Please send your cover letter, resume, three professional references, and proof of BC teacher certification to The Personnel Committee at hr@cathedralschool.ca.
