Our schools are teaching communities where principals, vice-principals, teachers and support staff nurture student well-being and challenge students to achieve their best.<p>We are seeking a creative, dynamic, committed professional to join our team: <p> Co-operative and Experiential Learning Assistant<p> 100% Regular<p>Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 12 month work year<p>ESP Level 5: $45,916 to $57,647 (Effective September 1, 2024: $47,736 to $59,467) Under the direction of the System Principal of Program Services, the Co-operative<p>Education/Experiential Learning Assistant provides administrative support in the<p>implementation and development of cooperative education and experiential learning<p>programming. This position will respond and direct to inquiries, maintain district and<p>school data and lists, coordinate and help facilitate learning events and administers budget transactions and financial records (requisitions, invoicing and accounts payable, sole sources and contracts). Qualifications Completion of secondary school diploma, and minimum of 3 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. <p> Familiar with Ministry policy and program documents related to Experiential Learning, Co-operative Education, Apprenticeship, School College Work Initiative, and Specialist High Skills Major. <p> Knowledge of District and Ministry software for cooperative education. <p> Computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, database and other applications. <p> Accounting skills required to administer and monitor financial transactions and records. <p> Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to provide explanation, clarification and clear instructions to others; as well as provide training to users of the co-op software. <p> Organization and time management skills required to prioritize work demands.
