Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Handling animals
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Perform animal grooming activities
  • Transport horses to competitions and shows
  • Treat livestock health issues
  • Feed and tend animals
  • Train horses
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
  • Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Provide therapy
  • Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases
  • Monitor nutritional intake
