Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Long term care center. Tasks: Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments . Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Conduct disease screening. Provide nursing care. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Perform administrative tasks. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding.
