Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Air conditioned. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Order merchandise. Authorize return of merchandise. Establish work schedules. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Manage cash. Supervision: 3-4 people. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel regularly. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Client focus. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Dependability. Initiative. Ability to multitask.
