Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Rural area. Urban area. Commercial. Industrial. Residential. Roads and bridges. Sewers and water mains. Various locations. Tasks: Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade. Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement. Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures. Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Ensure adherence to safety regulations. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Ear plugs. Gloves. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player.
